LAKE LADIES BRIDGE

Bridge Christmas Party

The annual Christmas party of the Lake Cherokee bridge club drew members to Cace's Seafood and Steakhouse on Wednesday, December 10^th.  The holiday theme of greenery, Santa's and red and green decorations added to the festivities. 

Following a lunch selected individually from menus, members held a gift exchange.  Lynda Suter, club co-chair with Ether Satcher, distributed the presents.  Debbie Hobson added to these with straw baskets filled with candies and toiletries, all colorfully wrapped.   

Bridge was played at quartet tables set up in the dining room.  Prizes were awarded to top players at each table and to the overall winner.  

No weekly sessions will be held by the group until the second week in January.  All bridge players who desire to participate are invited.  Play begins at 12 noon each Wednesday at the Lake Cherokee building downstairs.  On the first Wednesday of each month a luncheon is held at 11:30 am.  For further information please contact the co-chairs or Bette Slade, who is in charge of publicity.
