President's Message
We have come a long way since the writing of our Charter in 1947. I hope we continue to project the vision that our early leaders demonstrated in making Lake Cherokee a private lake, not owned by the State, but by individuals who truly cared. They had the foresight to build a superb community to be enjoyed by shareholders and their families. The Board has a tremendous responsibility to stay focused on matters that most affect our lives and those that follow. On a personal note, I want to thank the Shareholders and the Board for the confidence placed in me. As your president, I will give you the best that I have and as my father always lectured to me, "Do the right thing".It is my hope that we continue to listen to shareholders needs and concerns. I urge you to contact the Lake Office if you have questions. Feel free to call me at 903-643-7084 or you may email me at jhntsmith@yahoo.com. I welcome your comments.John T. Smith
