Host couples Mike and Delores
Toon, David and Polly Dunlap, Bud and Sammie Austin, and Esther and Don
Satcher
"Once
you said, 'It's ... green.'
" (Twilight) And green it was!! March 9th was Saint
Patrick's Day at Knife, Fork and Trowel. 70 people joined in the evening's
festivities, and that was two short of a record attendance. Hosting were
Dolores and Mike Toon, Polly and David Dunlap, Sammie and Bud Austin, and
Esther and Don Satcher. The tables were decorated with Leprechaun hats,
shamrock garlands, and there was even a sign posted that directed all the
members to "Leprechaun Lane." Dinner was Mike Toon's bar-b-que brisket,
served with rolls, a variety of salads and vegetables, and all those
decadent desserts Thanks to all who brought the sides.

Charlotte Mobbs
Everyone was
entertained by Charlotte Mobbs, who sang a variety of 50's and 60's music.
Her rendition of "Stand By Me" had Lee and Emma Scott, and Sonny and Maggy
Hamlin out on the dance floor. Other songs included "Under the Boardwalk"
and "Only You" which had Lee and Emma dancing again, and this time they were
joined by David Lewein and his granddaughter, Brooke Rice.

members Bryan and Marion Benson, guest Medeena Malone, and new member Philip
Owens
Several new
members were welcomed. They include Clyde and Laura Parker, Bryan and Marion
