February 9th was Valentine's Day at Knife,
Fork and Trowel. 57 people braved the cold weather to attend. Hosting were
Richard and Linda Cupps, James and Mary Nowak, and Jim and Maggie Reynolds.
The tables were decorated with heart shaped bowls of candy and centerpieces
of oversized Valentine's coffee mugs, each one filled with a plush animal.
Dinner was three different recipes of chicken spaghetti. The servers, James,
Richard and Jim nicknamed the dishes for everyone. One recipe was possum,
the second was armadillo, and the third was the basic road kill. These were
served with French bread, several different salads and desserts. Thank you
to all who brought the sides.
Several guests shared in the nights'
festivities of meet and visit with friends and neighbors. They included new
members Susan Deeds, and Gretchen and Joe Rogers. And, Joe Reeves introduced
his guest, Jackie Malone.

Door prize winners Debbie Hopson, guest
