Lake residents enjoy four seasons of the year, with mild winters, an average  temperature median of 64 degrees and an annual average rainfall of 46.5 inches.  We have a wonderful flowering spring, with migratory birds paying their yearly visit.

Fall brings a dazzling display of  colors as the autumn leaves turn brilliant colors.

Our lake is stocked with large mouth Bass, Crappie, Bream, and several varieties of Catfish.  Seasoned fishermen say we are the best kept secret in Texas.

In addition to fishing, activities include swimming, water skiing, sail boating, barge cruising, riding the Wave Runners and jet ski's, and picnicking at the island.

You'll also find a  nine hole golf course with low cost membership and fees, and a host of friendly folks.
