DuMont Image Orthicon Camera Discovered
it's not exactly pretty, but this camera may have originally belonged to WFAA.
It was found in Fort Worth at an Estate Sale. Unfortunately, we are missing the
camera control unit and the cables. Obviously it needs a lens set as well.
Any leads would be very much appreciated. Click here to

DuMont used their own proprietary camera cable connectors. It's the rectangular box in the center of the camera. I suspect that these will be very hard to find.
Here is the camera with the covers opened up. As you can see, it is reasonably clean inside.
Rear of the camera. Inside the control compartments, you can see the original green finish that would have been appropriate for this camera. The name tags say "Electronic Viewfinder Type 5099-A, Serial Number 213" and "Image Orth. Pickup Head Type 5095-A, Serial Number 213." Hey... "The numbers match...." If it were a car, that would be a very good thing.
DuMont Low Voltage Power Supply (left) and DuMont Distribution Amplifier and Low Voltage Power Supply. Both of thee are incredibly heavy, but they do have handles, thus, they are "portable." Note the rectangular camera cable connectors. It seems DuMont used these cables for many purposes. Quite handy actually.... If I only had the cables or connectors. We still need the CCU to stand a chance of ever getting this thing to work. Any leads would be appreciated. (We know Chuck Pharis).
Viewfinder interior. It should clean up fairly easily. Making it work may be more of a challenge.
